Well my day yesterday consisted of me going with the J.V squad to Fossil Ridge to play in the game. I technically did not play I just watched to see what they will run in certain weather so that way i can tell the other varsity players what they will run to help them out.
Sadly the J.V squad lost 37-7 against Fossil Ridge. It was a very cold game and fossil ridge came out fired up and scored on their first drive which took 5 plays. Legacy's offense turned the ball over on our own 45 which led to another Fossil ridge touchdown. Legacy had a chance to score in the second quarter when we were on their 10 yard line, sadly it was a pick in the end zone which put fossil ridge on their own 20 yard line. this happened the whole game.
Legacy did not score until the 3rd quarter when we had fumbled the ball then scooped and scored it for a 60 yard touchdown. That was the only time legacy put points on the board.
This was a very hard fought game by fossil ridge and sadly they game out victorious.
