Review #3

Music is the best thing for some people through out the world. It helps us relax, calm down, get pumped before a game, but most of all lets us enjoy what we love and explains are personality. Their all types of genres of music from Bluegrass, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Country, Folk, and Metal. These are the most popular genres that most people listen too.

The most common one with teenagers is Rap, Hip-Hop, Country, and Heavy Metal. These most common because they either grew up listening to it or they liked it by experimenting with music and found that genre.

A teenager once told me that if it wasn't for music then he wouldn't be who he is today and that he would not be here. When he told me this I realized that mostly every teenager is into music and listens to it every day and sometimes 24 hours a day.  If music did not exist then their would be even more suicidal deaths and violence in this world then there already is.

So, if you are lonely or need a little break then turn to music because it will always be their for you.

It was September 11, 2001 my uncle was in the east side of the pentagon at 9:37 in the morning. He had just got there when the plane struck the west side of the building. He ended up surviving.

So the band Slipknot was a very popular band in the 90's and some if the 2000's.  They Originated in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa. They had lots of albums that were hits and songs as well. Slipknot was one of those really popular heavy metal bands that would travel the world. they were so many bands idols as well.

The band stop performing when their bass player Paul Gray died on May 24, 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa. The whole band was devastated.  When They went on their last tour they brought his bass, jumpsuit, and mask and put it on a podium. They really did not want to continue with the band after he passed away. Paul Gray was the Co-Founder of Slipknot.

Now in 2014 Slipknot has gotten back together but this time without their drummer Joey Jordinson and Paul Gray of course. Most of the fans are excited that they are back together but some are upset because it is not the original Slipknot that everyone fell in love with. I honestly am both. It is exciting that they are back together but then it isn't , because they are missing two really good members that can not be replaced.

Slipknot will always be one of my favorite bands, but they will never be the same. Paul Gray will always be missed and i hope Joey Jordensons new band Scar The Martyr does great.

Heavy Metal is a raw sounding music genre that gets peoples heart rate going and adrenaline pumping.  The most popular bands of today are Bring Me The Horizon, As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Pop Evil, Seether, Starset, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, All that Remains, Parkway Drive and Hollywood Undead. Their are lots of other bands out their. The most popular bands back in the 80's and 90's are Metallica, Death, Megadeath, Obituary, Sepultora, Slayer, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Korn, Slipknot, Godsmack, Testament, Type O' Negative, Drowning Pool and more. This genre of music is not dead and people who say it is are wrong as you can tell. 

Some of the old bands have come back together for like a year or so for a tour but after that they go their separate ways. So, if you are not a huge fan of Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal, Nu Metal, Dark Metal and Metal then listen to a few of these bands and see what you think. Also, comment what you think and the name of the song you listened too.

Sports in America

What are the most popular sports played by Americans and in America? Well we have the answer. The sports played throughout america are Baseball, American Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, Bowling, Tennis, Golf and many more.  The list goes on forever. The most popular ones that are played by kids up until they are adults are Baseball, Hockey, Basketball, And American Football. Sports are very popular in the united states. I asked a High School Student at legacy High School Keith what his favorite sports are and this is what he said "My favorite sports to play and watch in order are American Football, Hockey, Baseball, and Basketball." He is a very athletic kid. Keith loves all types of sports and loves to be active.

Bills V.S. Chargers

The Buffalo Bills are looking pretty good so far starting off the season with two tremendous victories over the Chicago Bears in week one and the Miami Dolphins in week two.  Do you think they are contending or pretending? Well I personally think they are contending. I mean they proved everyone wrong two weeks in a row. Personally i believe they can go far into the playoffs, if they keep up the level of play that they have done for the past two weeks. Carpenter, E.J Manuel, Sammy Watkins, Fred Jackson, C.J Spiller, the Bills defense, and the fans keep doing what they are doing then they should win.

If  I could be friends with any fictional character or celebrity i would choose Corey Taylor. Corey Taylor is the singer for Slipknot and Stone Sour. I chose Corey Taylor because he is one of my favorite singers who sings in one of my favorite bands. He is one of my favorite singers because, he is one of the funniest out going and emotional writer/singers out their. i would ask him to help me write a song that is powerful and heavy like one his songs wait and bleed.  then i would ask him if he would like to sing in it with me. If he was able to get my song heard by a lot of people who have lost a loved one then maybe i can help a handful of people with their lives. I know Corey Taylor has helped me through tough times with his songs Snuff, Dead Memories, and Spit It Out. If you like this please check out some of Corey Taylor's music.
